MIELE is a both, an experimental typeface and an Adobe Illustrator brush. The stroke springs from the signs drawn by Desirée, owner of a honey-stall at the Saturday market of Bolzano.
Imitating the streaking behaviour of the ink, and inspired by the movement of Desirée’s strokes this typeface is a small exploration of the visual culture in market places.
